de Navarre Young Scientist Prize Brings Chemist to 2015 IFSCC

The IFSCC has opened the competition for the Maison G de Navarre Young Scientists Prize, which is granted each year to enable a young cosmetic scientist to attend an IFSCC Conference. The 2015 winner will attend the 2015 conference in Zurich, Switzerland in September. The cost of the travel, accommodation and registration fees, up to, but not exceeding 5000 Swiss francs, will be paid by IFSCC.

Any member of the IFSCC, normally under 35 years of age, may apply by submitting (electronically) an essay of 500-3000 words on one of the following topics:

  • How cosmetic science can contribute to the improvement of society;
  • My first year of experience in the cosmetic field: problems and future hopes;
  • The importance of fragrance in cosmetic products;
  • The importance of cosmetics on human health improvement; or
  • The role of preservatives in cosmetics.
The essay (in English) should be submitted to the IFSCC secretariat ([email protected]) with the entry form by June 1.
